Research

The Alzheimer's Foundation focuses in particular on supporting research into new diagnostic and treatment methods.

Support should go towards the translation, validation and standardisation of neuropsychological tests and towards the validation of metabolic (cerebrospinal fluid, blood tests), structural (MRI) and functional (PET, SPECT) biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease and other conditions.

We support professionals, research projects and educational activities that contribute to a better understanding of Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia.

We invest in developing a new generation of professionals and in spreading knowledge that moves diagnosis, treatment and care forward.
